God does not change the condition of a people unless they change what is in themselves” – Quran [13:11].
Indeed, the choices we make have far-reaching consequences, and our actions, whether good or bad, can impact not only ourselves but also those around us, including our Muslim brothers and sisters.
As we scroll through screens, witnessing the hardships and tragedies, mourning for their losses, know that we cannot simply return to our routines with no change, no remorse, and no action.
Open your eyes and see the world as it truly is. Recognise that the suffering of others could one day be your own. None of us are immune to the trials of life, and we must stand together in solidarity.
The time for change is now.
We cannot afford to delay any longer. Let our actions speak louder than our words. Let us be the source of hope and support for our fellow Muslims.
Let us be the change we wish to see in the world, and in doing so, we can make a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most.
