Small Efforts, Big Rewards: Unlock Daily Adhkaar for Dhul Hijjah

Just as the recitation of the Quran is the hallmark of Ramadan, Dhikr is the hallmark of the blessed days of Dhul Ḥijjah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,  “There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days,” meaning the (first) ten days of Dhul- Hijjah. They said: “O Messenger of Allah! Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?” He said: “Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, unless a man goes out with himself and his wealth and does not bring anything back.” There is no God but Allah. Glory be to Allah. All Praises be to Allah. Allah is the Greatest. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,  “Indeed what you remember of Allah’s Glory (by uttering) tasbīḥ, takbīr, tahlīl and taḥmīd, gather around the Throne of Allah, buzzing like bees, mentioning to Allah the person who uttered them. Do you not wish to have someone who mentions you by Him?” [Ibn Majah] Dua for the 9th-13th of Dhul Hijjah “Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. There is no deity besides Allah and Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest and all praises are for Allah only.”  Seeking Forgiveness — One of

From the Staunchest Enemy to the Khalifa of Islam: Umar bin al-Khattab

Hazrat Umar (RA) converted to Islam in the 6th year of Dawah in the month of Dhul Hijjah.  The First Time Islam Entered His Heart The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) recited the entire chapter, and Umar (RA) listened with great astonishment and curiosity. He reflected deeply on what he heard. Umar (RA) later recounted that Surah Al-Haqqah profoundly affected him, breaking him down spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, leaving him utterly bewildered. Although he initially tried to forget this experience and did not accept Islam at that time, he eventually had another encounter with the Quran, which led to his acceptance of Islam. The Conversion Hazrat Umar (RA) sets off with the intention of killing the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Meets one of his acquaintances on the way and shares his plan.  Comes to know of Hazrat Fatima (RA) and Hazrat Zayd (RA) who accepted Islam.  Enraged, he rushes to Hazrat Fatima (RA)’s house and hears her reciting the Quran.  Acting out of anger whilst attacking his brother-in-law,he ends up hurting her sister. But then calms down and asks to read the Quran himself. Hazrat Fatima (RA) asks him to perform ghusl first. After ghusl, he begins reading the starting verses of Surah Taha. As he reads the Quran and reaches this realisation that Islam truly is The Truth, he goes to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and accepts islam.  Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Allah, strengthen Islam with one of two men

He said: “It expiates the sins (minor) of the past year and the coming year.”  [Muslim] We all know about fasting on the Day of Arafah, but as mentioned before it’s Sunnah to fast the first eight days as well. Weekly Wrap Up – MWA—Raw Edition Ep 1

Picture a bridge that’s broken and people walking on it  (unaware of the danger) keep falling into the water below. It’s like a never-ending cycle of accidents. At first, the obvious thing to do is to rush to the water and help those who have fallen. Saving lives is urgent and important. But if we step back and think about it, rescuing people one by one isn’t enough. The real problem is the broken bridge itself. If we don’t fix it, people will keep falling, no matter how hard we try to save them. As much as protests, rallies are important, we should never be comfortable thinking that it’s the only way or that our job is done. We must realise that it’s the bridge that needs to be fixed, eventually.  Here, we must clarify that we are not against protests, rallies, boycotts, and social media campaigns. We participate, appreciate and will continue to be a part of them openly. But with that said, our priorities remain intact. We must be the ones repairing that bridge. It is to connect people with the religion of Allah. Imagine for instance, Israelis get a serious moral hit and all of them including the prime minister decide to end their lives due to their guilty consciousness. Palestine is liberated, Gaza is free and Al-Aqsa is ours again. An enormous sight of relief spreads across the Muslim ummah, we all celebrate, be grateful and everything.  Now, here’s the thing: one week down the
